Why only 6.5 to 10 years? Punishment for ID theft alone needs to be severe if the activity is going to be addressed by the criminal justice system, and these terms are not that. Add the terrorism aspect to it, and factor in that hundreds of suspected terrorists lanquish in Gitmo and other U.S. sponsored prisons without criminal charges or convictions and that this state of affairs has continued upwards of five years now for some with no end in sight, then putting these charged and now convicted jihadists away for 6.5 to 10 years seems ridiculously mild in comparison. Maybe we should do to them what they advocated and broadcast doing to others. Take off their heads in a very public display so that the rest of the holy warriors can see.
